Become a global citizen. Explore the world. Build lifelong friendships.
About the Program
Rotary Youth Exchange offers high school students (ages 15-18) the opportunity to study abroad for a full academic year (long-term) or several weeks during the summer (short-term). Hosted by Rotary clubs around the world, exchange students live with multiple host families and attend local schools.
Spend a full academic year abroad, living with host families and attending a local school while experiencing another culture.
International youth camps bring together young people from many countries for cultural and social exchange. Each camp has its own theme, such as sports, arts, peace-building, culture, or sightseeing, often combining several activities.
Study Abroad ScholarshipsTwo families arrange reciprocal stays for their children. Typically, one student stays with the other family for 3–4 weeks, then both students travel together for another 3–4 weeks with the first family. The families agree on the timing and length of the exchange.
Study Abroad ScholarshipsA service exchange for young adults ages 18–30, lasting 3 weeks to 3 months. University attendance is not required.
